the big couch is a bittersweet spot in our house
it is the space where i look out the window
and wave "buh bye" to dad
as he leaves for work in the morning
but it is also one of the places where
we relax together when he gets home
also on the sweet side of the equation ...
the remote control [one of my favorite toys]
is usually found nearby
