like i said ...

... moms has my back
when it comes to keepin' my gear tight
one of the newest additions to my arsenal
is the "exer-saucer" pictured below

i don't really get the name ...
the calorie expenditure is minimal at best
and none of the accessories taste like they have been sauced
but there are a few that i have yet to get in my mouth
i will continue to probe
keep your fingers crossed for honey mustard

i've got two ...

i am not sure how much time you spend sans socks
but that is how i roll most days
especially now that summer has hit happy valley

and i don't mean to seem ungrateful ...
mom has picked up some great toys for me
but there is nothing like a lazy afternoon
spent with one's ten little piggies

other newsworthy notes ...

i knew it had been a while but ...
almost two months ?!
again ... lo siento

two months ... that is more than a third of my time on this earth
in the upcoming days i will try to catch you up
on the key events and cute faces
of the last several weeks of maxwell ...

mom and i are getting more daring
with the solid food experimentation
i have carrots, sweet potatoes and pears under my belt now
i almost had some home-cooked stir fry this evening
but dad moved his bowl too quickly

i had another monthiversary too !
may 24th marked five months
if you are handy with a calendar and a calculator
you have already figured out that
six months is just a day or so away
stay tuned ...

gasp ...

time to come up for air
it has been a little busy around here lately
it turns out that major home renovations
can be a little time consuming

but i am back my people
and will try to be more present on these pages
in the near future

speaking of the new home ...
you can see from the first photo below
that things were starting to get a little cramped in the old crib
i have been made to understand that my possessions
account for much of the current demand for more space
i have my doubts ...
dad has a ridiculous number of salt and pepper shakers
and don't even get me started on the bottle cap collection

we had a lot of help getting our new casa tuned up
grammy jan, grahampa tom and pop-pop cooper
put down a serious trail of elbow grease
i am confident that dad can cover it up with some caulk
he seems to enjoy using the stuff ... always giggling when he does
perhaps he is just happy that the dry-walling is done
