it appears that my blogger account
has been hacked by my captors

you read that correctly my dear reader ...
for the past month i have been wrongfully imprisoned
locked away for a crime that i did not commit

to be brutally honest ...
which i believe is the best kind of honesty
though it is not to be confused with honest brutality
which is not as noble as it sounds

but i digress ...
i am somewhat disappointed that none of my faithful readers
especially those with phds, engineer titles or the freedom to
schedule conference calls around their jet-setter lifestyle
did not detect the chicanery within that 8/24 post

i mean sure ...
like most others i had a bad case of LLWS fever
but i was asleep before most of the keystone games
so that reference made no so sense
and this is the first i have heard of fantasy football
aside from HAWKEYE football
which i understand to be everyone's fantasy

along these lines ...
i am not as concerned about the cy-hawk debacle
as the post in question would lead you to believe
i am more preoccupied with the upcoming psu/IOWA game
as that contest has a greater bearing on my quality of life

that being said ...
i am happy to announce that the future leaders of america
otherwise known as the undergraduates of iowa
are working to rectify this monumental memento mishap

last but not least ...

it has been pretty busy around these parts
the graham-parents were in town
then uncle mike came for a visit

my sporting commitments have also increased of late
not only have i been prepping dad for his first
fantasy football draft [hint: pick stanzi]
but the "local" team has been tearing up the LLWS

last but not least is the looming HAWKEYE FOOTBALL season
as if the loss of skilled starters and the addition of nebraska
were not enough to worry about
i now have this hot mess to deal with ...
